Job Description

As the Manager of Accounts Receivable, you will be responsible for managing CVS Kidney Care’s existing billing process. You will also manage and oversee the installation of new applications, new components, and upgrade existing applications to meet CVS Kidney Care’s billing, collections and accounts receivable needs for all sales channels including, Aetna and PBM clients, strategic partnership, acquisitions, and value-based care relationships.

In addition, you will be responsible for reviewing billing reports to ensure compliance as well as provide consistent measurement and feedback of departmental expectations, success, and areas of concern.

In this role, you will also be responsible for identifying and quantifying trends/issues and effectively communicating/reporting them to the appropriate members of the management team along with the potential impact.

You will assist leadership in building and maintaining a high performing highly engaged team.

Knowledge of federal HIPPA, PHI and other regulatory requirements to help ensure compliance when working claims data is also important.

This role will:
• Manage existing billing activities including Aetna claim wire billing and PBM ancillary billing processes.
• Partner with CVS Kidney Care Finance to set up of intercompany transfers.
• Partner with CVS Kidney Care Finance to set up a stand-alone billing, collections and A/R process for Kidney Care and establish a contract management system on the front end that would then feed into the billing system.
• Oversee go-live and rollout support.
• Manage the support of users on new applications, modules, and functionality.
• Oversee analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate CVS IT colleague or the vendor to coordinate the modification.
• Provide and encourage advanced application troubleshooting support for the application(s).
• Oversee the resolution of critical issues. Forward issues to the correct group for remediation or elevate it to the vendor if required.
• Determine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users.
• Manage the creation of system specifications from user requirements.
• Manage the creation of test plans and test new systems, version upgrades, and any system modifications.
• Oversee and manage application implementation, troubleshooting, and support.

Required Qualifications
3+ years in managing billing and A/R software.
3+ years of healthcare experience.

Education
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
