The Enterprise Business Process Management (EBPM) team has great opportunities for people like you who are hardworking, energetic, and dependable. The EBPM team's aim is to ensure that processes are connected from beginning to finish in order to produce value in a seamless manner. Our vision is to be a strategic business partner across the Loblaw Enterprise, assisting in the implementation of the company's business strategy, which includes innovation, agility, effectiveness, and efficiency.

The major responsibility of this position is to lead and support the EBPM team on continuous improvement projects. To identify business improvements, extract system data, provide business insights, create meaningful reports and presentations, and conduct and/or support activities such as time studies, manual data collection, root cause analysis, and workshops to integrate solutions and improve efficiency, the primary responsibilities are to use Lean Six Sigma concepts and methodologies. You will collaborate with the EBPM team as well as numerous business stakeholders in this job.

What you're going to do is:

  • Participate in numerous process improvement workshops with the EBPM team, as well as support data analysis requirements for the workshops and create summary reports and presentations on data analysis findings.
  • Assist in the design of solutions for process improvement projects as part of a project team.
  • Build requirements and objectives with project teams and stakeholder groups.
  • To identify guiding concepts, cultivate and establish partnerships with stakeholder groups.
  • Assist project teams with the implementation and delivery of Enterprise Business Process projects.
  • To address corporate needs, develop analytical methodologies.
  • To align and measure key indicators in support of objectives, you'll need to extract data and conduct analyses.
  • Communicate complicated quantitative analysis to peers and Senior Leadership in a clear, precise, and actionable manner across the enterprise.
  • Create summary reports and presentations in PowerPoint using data visualization and visual management.
  • Owning the development of Key Metric Dashboards to support projects and company activities and provide insight to management board level peers

You'll require the following items:


  • University Degree or equivalent professional experience in a quantitative subject such as engineering, mathematics, business, statistics, or computer science. A master's degree in business administration is a plus.
  • Experience with process improvement, industrial engineering, or data analysis is a plus.
  • Advanced computer abilities (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Visio) as well as VBA knowledge are required.
  • As the work necessitates extensive connection with internal clients, excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • A high focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills, including the ability to extract meaningful data interpretations. Excellent ability to storyboard and develop compelling Powerpoint presentations.
  • Ability to effectively self-organize and finish various activities on time, with a clear focus on quantitative outcomes
  • Process improvement, Lean Six Sigma, and/or Business Process Management experience are desirable.
  • Six Sigma is a lean methodology. Certification as a Green Belt is advantageous.
  • Experience with SAS and SQL data queries is a plus.
