Essential Job Functions
Oversee staffing activities for the site and ensure that needs are met to align with the staffing forecastOwn recruiting activities and coordinate efforts with the Center of Excellence for Talent AcquisitionEnsure all hiring requisitions are worked timely and candidates are processed appropriatelyResolve issues with candidate experience, including background checks and adjudicationOversee the onboarding of new associates and conduct orientation and appropriate trainingDevelop and execute programs to promote retentionEnsure personnel files are maintained according to company guidelinesStrive to effectively resolve problems for the mutual benefit of the company and its associates, provide education and direction for management on contract interpretation, labor relations principles and effective conflict resolutionFacilitate training on-site as directed by corporate Supply ChainMaintain confidentially and exercise discretionParticipate in safety training and promote at facilityTravel up to 15% of time to support business unitsSupervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reportsMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED3+ years of HR experienceAbility to prioritize/multi-task while providing accurate/on-time resultsDemonstrated ability to coach and trainExcellent oral/written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeDesired Previous Experience/Education
Bachelor's Degree in HR related field or comparable experienceAny experience in a supervisory positionAny experience working in employment law
