The Wholesale Credit Regulatory Portfolio Associate will assist Wholesale Credit Officers with specific regulations that may apply during the underwriting and monitoring process.

Among the responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

Providing advise on required data and/or complete regulatory data inputs (e.g., decision tree completion, answers to inquiries for a specific regulation throughout the underwriting process, etc.) to ensure compliance with the designated regulation.

Assisting with the development of any Front Line Until (FLU) procedures for the selected regulation with the work team.

Assisting with regulatory reporting validation and investigating findings from Enterprise Independent Testing

Assisting with ad-hoc requests and appropriately prioritize workload

Collaborating with control partners on an annual assessment of Policy and Standards to determine the impact on the Wholesale Credit line of business.

Required abilities:

•  Ability to work independently and manage one's own time
  
•  Excellent verbal communication and teamwork abilities
  
• Possess the ability to lead and execute with a positive, upbeat approach
  
• Knowledge of credit agreements, collateral documents, and loan write-ups
  
• The candidate must be extremely well-organized.
  
• Preferably, 3-5 years of experience in credit underwriting or credit operations with a focus on collateral.
  
• The participant must be meticulous and have a high regard for data accuracy.
  

Desired abilities;

• Familiarity with CRA, FCRA, FDIC High Risk, HVCRE, Reg W, Reg O, Bankruptcy, TDR, and Flood regulations.
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to regularly communicate with leadership, Compliance, Enterprise Process Oversight (EPO), Audit, and Credit Review.
  
• Credit underwriting, monitoring, and collateral analysis experience, as well as familiarity with.
