Job Description

The Controls Systems Engineer is in charge of jobs and activities that you undertake in the engine production and assembly sectors, such as system design and implementation, testing, and problem solving. Oversee the work of other specialists and workgroups on highly complicated systems.

  • Create and document the requirements for designing an automobile system.
  • Design and manage major strategic interfaces inside systems so that components can be reused and standard processes can be followed.
  • Oversee the formulation of requirements in conjunction with other operations.
  • Assist other experts in doing root cause analyses.
  • Capable of expertly capturing and analyzing empirical data.
  • Design tests are used to quickly identify design improvements.
  • Keep up with industry developments, technology, and best practices.
  • Identify and document system flaws, then devise mitigation strategies and track corrective efforts.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a master's degree in Mechatronics, or similar experience, is preferred.
  • Profibus, Profinet, TCP/IP, and EthernetIP are examples of industrial networking protocols.
  • Siemens WinCC and TIA Portal, as well as Rockwell FactoryTalk View, are examples of HMI software.
  • Rockwell ControlLogix family, Siemens 300 and CNC, Fanuc LEP PLC hardware
  • Siemens 840D CNC, Siemens G120 series, Fanuc 35i CNC, and Rockwell Powerflex and Kinetix servo drive systems
  • Cameras with Vision
  • At times, this position will necessitate overtime and off-shift production support.
