Hybrid: In order to perform optimally, an employee does not need to be on-site full-time. The employee's job allows them to work at GM facilities or off-site as often as they need or choose. This position necessitates the employee's presence onsite 1-3 times a week.

In order to establish lean manufacturing methods, the Industrial Engineer Supervisor will interact directly with the necessary entities. They'll look at throughput data to see how departments can improve. Along with the core team, they will be responsible for leading standardized work for future products and assisting in the launch of exceptional products at Benchmark efficiency levels. They will lead ongoing improvement projects in a stable state. The primary responsibility of an Industrial Engineer Supervisor is to oversee, lead, and empower their subordinates in their efforts to remove waste of time, money, materials, person-hours, machine time, energy, and other resources that do not provide value.
The job will create, recommend, and implement strategies to improve the GPS Industrial Engineering and GM as a whole by driving improvements that improve production processes and/or product quality. Working in a fast-paced production environment is vital to your success. GM stands for General Motors. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related subject, as well as experience working in a fast-paced production setting.
