Job Description

The Infrastructure Developer Lead role requires a thorough understanding of code-driven solutions, including API’s, infrastructure, system components, development practices, and an end-to-end working knowledge of the ecosystem with an SRE mindset.  This includes being able to lead a team, or multiple teams, of developers to deliver on thematic goals and vision.  As a technologist you will need to know how all the various components work together and can be orchestrated to provide cohesion and unify disparate code and systems.  You will effectively collaborate, present ideas, design and create solutions to development teams, peers and executive leadership. 

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Hands on experience with architecture, development, implementation, and operation teams a plus
  • Able to lead development teams to deliver api-driven solutions
  • Develop automation blueprint and roadmap to achieve
  • Understands system and technology stack and how pieces come together
  • Run and manage project, RCAs, identifying key indicators
  • Drive iterative continual delivery with development standards and reusable patterns
  • Must have a thorough understanding of SRE principles and continuous improvement practices
  • Able to work within a team-based environment and independently as required to achieve goals
  • Working knowledge of networking components, storage platforms, including servers, firewalls, and load-balancers
  • Interacts well with internal teams, PMs and external vendors
  • Able to orchestrate large-scale and complex solutions
