Inflight

Flight attendants and their support staff are part of the Inflight Services department.

Overview of the position and responsibilities

  • At the system Operations Control Center, directs the operation of flight attendant scheduling. All components of the Inflight Crew Scheduling functions are overseen and managed.
  • All crew scheduling functions are planned and controlled by you.
  • Within the NOC, coordinates and communicates with other operating groups.
  • Ensures that contractual interpretations and scheduling procedures are followed consistently and efficiently.
  • Administers policies, systems, cost management, staffing, and business procedures in accordance with company and government regulations, as well as agreements with flight attendant unions.
  • Monitors performance against forecasts and takes corrective measures to avoid negative trends.
  • Serves as a liaison between the NOC's bases and other departments, encouraging open communication and modeling teamwork through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Maintains positive connections with flight attendant union representatives and clarifies agreements in order to find long-term solutions to concerns.
  • Leads a team of shift supervisors, senior schedulers, and schedulers in the scheduling of shifts.
  • Employees are developed and positive employee participation is encouraged.

Required

  • Years of experience comparable to a bachelor's degree
  • 3–5 years of operational management experience
  • 3 to 5 years Ops Scheduling Experience
  • Ability to devise and implement strategies
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities
  • Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are all programs that may be used to create documents.
  • To work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, you must be able to read and write in English.
  • To achieve the employment qualification, you must pass the interview.
  • Attendance reliability and punctuality are required functions of the post Preferred
