As a Sr Business Process Improvement Analyst–Sourcing Practices & Standards reporting to the Sr. Strategic Sourcing Director, join Medtronic's Global Direct Materials and Contract Manufacturing team. You will assist the Global Supply Management group by identifying, establishing, and maturing sourcing business processes in this critical function. Within Global Supply Management and with other vertical organizations such as the Advanced Analytics team, you will collaborate cross-functionally.

An Average Day in the Life:

  • You will perform the following duties as a Sr Business Process Improvement Analyst–Sourcing Practices & Standards:
  • Improve Enterprise Supply Management processes on a constant basis.
  • Identify and visualize important performance metrics for process optimization using data and analytics to deliver business intelligence insights.
  • Support the continual improvement of sourcing business processes by identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Create and implement standard "best practice" processes, as well as continuously enhance current ones. Implement new procedures with the use of effective and efficient tools and templates.
  • Support Best-in-class process maturity and best practices in global materials and contract manufacturing, as well as global supply management
  • Within the entire Global Supply Management organization, support the harmonization of common processes.
  • Create and implement Sourcing Excellence programs across Medtronic that are aligned with key business unit goals.
  • Implement lean and six sigma principles to foster a culture of continuous improvement, attain process maturity, and enhance capabilities.

Minimum Requirements are a must-have:

  • Bachelor's degree is required for this position.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

It's Beneficial to Have

  • Experience with supply management and supply chain management
  • Certification in Lean Sigma GB
  • Working knowledge of analytic tools such as PowerBI
  • Experience in the medical device industry
