Cisco’s Customer Experience (CX) organization is one of our fastest growing teams, and the Customer & Partner Experience (CPXE) Organization within CX is redefining how Cisco delivers value to our customers & partners via our product portfolio. The CPXE Security Team is charged with securing all the offerings within CPXE.

What You'll Do

At Cisco, you will work on groundbreaking security solutions and gain experience in the newest technologies. You will use your skills to perform penetration tests on Cisco's world-class product connecting all of Cisco's products through one cloud-based customer center. You will make the impossible possible using your understanding of applications and the cloud to find and demonstrate security flaws. You will not only be able to break security but work with developers to help develop fixes. You are passionate about security, enjoy breaking systems and building defenses.

Who You'll Work With

You'll be part of an innovative security team redefining the way that Cisco protects data stored in the cloud. We are passionate about security and apply savvy risk-based thinking to build the best outcomes for our customers.

You'll be connecting with other functions within Security Operations and across all of the numerous CX teams, such as top skilled cloud operations, application, and platform engineers. You'll also work with other security professionals across Cisco to implement new and innovative ways to secure the Cloud.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate demonstrable experience, 5-7 years of industry experience
• At least 5 years of experience working in security with 1 year of that engaged in hands on penetration testing
• Passion for security, curiosity, and an appetite for breaking things.
• Experience leading & mentoring others in this field. 
• Detailed understanding of the technical aspects of penetration testing
• Ability to mentor highly technical testing personnel. 
• Cloud testing experience 
• Have at least OSCP or more security certifications, particularly those with a penetration testing focus (CEH, CompTIA PenTest+, etc.).

You Are Highly Capable Of

Effectively and thoroughly analyzing and testing cloud environments and applications continuously to find security flaws and working with other testers and engineers to validate those flaws. . You show out-of-the-box thinking, analytical reasoning, and creative problem solving skills. You have a keen ability to identify complex security vulnerabilities and can detail those findings and collaborate with others on finding ways to remediate them.
