Technical Lead, Supply Chain, Brampton, ON
We are looking for eager, fast-learning intermediate/senior software engineers that will work in an Agile delivery environment where you will be tasked with the research and development of our next-generation applications including Supply Chain Products and connected ecosystem. The right individual is a natural communicator, engages peers in technical discussions and experienced with communicating recommendations and insights, and enjoys the challenge of applying their expertise in using the very best tools, technologies, and platforms available in the market.

As part of a very encouraging and hard-working team, you'll be accelerated and up-skilled through pairing and in-depth training on cloud platforms (Azure, GCP and OpenShift), with a focus on continuous delivery with a DevOps approach including CI/CD development, pair programming, implementing cloud-native software.

What You’ll Do:

  • Architecting, designing, and developing new features and re-engineering of existing code
  • Translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into backend and front-end code
  • Implementing unit tests with test driven development
  • Identifying risks to delivery speed, security, scalability, and reliability and recommending mitigations
  • Participating in project planning and solution proposals to Sr. leadership across Product, Platform and Delivery teams

What you Bring:

  • Hands on development skills within cloud platforms such as OpenShift, MS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Solid grasp of Microservices, containerization and scalability
  • Knowledge and experience with server-side frameworks including Spring Boot and Hibernate
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular, along with fundamentals of HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3
  • API creation and RESTful services with API Gateways
